​from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for a day with "REFRESH"!

At First Baptist Church in Hanover, the women have been meeting Saturday mornings for a time of fellowship, study and prayer. Instead of just the generic term "Women's Group" we have adopted a name... "REFRESH" And that is what we are going to do!

Our world is full of chaos! We all have obligations, appointments, work, church, family and the list goes on. Isn't it time for you to take a day for yourself and REFRESH?

This no-cost mini-retreat day will feature food, fun and fellowship. We will take this time to "refresh" ourselves in mind and spirit through scripture along with a few laughs. Oh, and did I mention lifting our voices in song?

In the book of Esther, we read that it took 12 months of beauty treatments to get this would-be queen ready to meet her king. How glorious is it that we have a lifetime to renew, restore, and refresh our hearts before meeting our King! Take comfort—the power of Jesus’ forgiveness, grace, and mercy is transforming your heart every day. He will sustain you until your heart is fully and eternally restored as you enter the gates of heaven!

There is no cost for this event, however you must register. We need to know how many so we can prepare food and supplies for each attendee. The information in the registration will NOT be shared in any way and is confidential to the organizers only.

This event will be live and in person only. There will be no Zoom of Facebook Live connections.

NOTE: Our “tech” person is Cindy Lee Nonnemacher. She is doing the email notifications and assisting where needed.
